Do you ever feel like you don't have enough time to cook a delicious meal when you get home!? Well this kids, is the answer!

A shrimp skillet with roasted Brussels sprouts.  One dish in the oven while the other is in the pan.  20 minutes and very few ingredients.

Cajun Brussels

 

Get It:

  • 15 brussels, halved
  • 3 tbsp walnut oil (or fat of your choice)
  • 1 tbsp cajun seasoning (or mix of seasonings, make sure you include paprika)
  • Salt and pepper

Do It:

  • Toss all the ingredients in a bowl and bake for 20 minutes at 375.
  • While that's baking.........

Shrimp Skillet

Get It:

  • 1  pound shrimp
  • 2 medium bell peppers
  • 1 container shrooms
  • 1 white or yellow onion
  • Splash of white wine
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp tarragon

Do It:

  • Sauté the onions, tarragon, bell peppers and olive oil for about ten minutes.
  • Add the shrimp, shrooms and the wine and sautee for about 10 minutes on medium heat or until shrimp are pink all the way through.
  • Place the shrimp in a large bowl and surround with Cajun Brussels and serve.  Seriously about 10 minutes of work time!
