7 Step Nutritious Paleo Bone Broth
Hi Friends!
It's high time that I give you my super solid Paleo bone broth recipe since it's such a staple in my house. Especially when you made and consumed REAL, home made macaroni and cheese last night, bone broth can help you get right back on track. The mac and cheese was absolutely incredible however, I immediately and STILL feel super lethargic and I haven't pooped lately. Moving on because I'm sure you're curious about my poo schedule and all… It makes me sad to not have a batch of bone broth around and after you make my recipe you'll be sad too. So let's get happy and make some Paleo bone broth!

Step by step instruction for extremely healthy and delicious Paleo Bone Broth.
Ingredients
- grass fed beef bones - 4 - 6 lbs
- carrots - 2
- celery stalks - 2
- large white onion - 1
- bay leaves - 2
- apple cider vinegar - 2 tbsp
- cloves garlic - 4
- salt - 1 tbsp
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 and place the somewhat defrosted bones on a foil lined baking sheet. Roast for 25 minutes until nicely browned.
- Place the bones in the crock pot with any of the yummy fat or crunchies on the foil.
- Coarsely chop the veggies, smash the garlic and place in a stock sock or cheese cloth (optional) with the bones.
- Fill the crock pot with filtered water. Add salt, pep, apple cider vinegar and bay leaves and set on low for 12 hours (you can have this go for 24 hours if you want!).
- Strain into a large bowl, cover and set in the fridge for 3 hours or until chilled.
- Scoop the fat off the top and chill for another hour so the broth can get jelly-like.
- Serve in a mug to drink whenever for a healthy snack or store in mason jars and freeze. It lasts about 2 weeks in the fridge :).
Notes
Make sure the bones are from GRASS FED cows. This is the only way to ensure you're getting proper minerals and nutrients from the marrow.
